Craig Derrick is an award-winning entertainment executive with more than 30 years of experience building games, leading global interactive portfolios, and helping grow some of the world's most beloved entertainment franchises.

Throughout my career, I've worked at the intersection of entertainment, storytelling, and games, helping grow and steward some of the world's most recognizable franchises through interactive experiences while also reinventing classic game series and creating new worlds for players to explore. My work has spanned franchises including Star Wars, Indiana Jones, LEGO, Monkey Island, and Family Guy, while also helping grow businesses, develop talented teams, and create games enjoyed by millions of people around the world.

Today, I lead the strategy, development, and performance of a multi-year interactive portfolio at Lucasfilm Games within The Walt Disney Company. From greenlight through launch, I partner with world-class development studios and cross-functional teams to align creative vision, business strategy, and operational execution. My responsibilities span portfolio strategy, franchise development, production oversight, quality, brand stewardship, portfolio performance, and long-term roadmap planning, with regular engagement with senior leadership across Disney and Lucasfilm.

Before returning to Lucasfilm, I co-founded Fifth Journey, helping Western entertainment companies expand into high-growth international markets. At TinyCo, I helped transform the studio into a franchise-focused business that contributed to its successful acquisition. During my earlier time at LucasArts, I helped reinvent beloved game franchises while developing original IP under the creative review of George Lucas. I began my career at Parallax Software, creators of the groundbreaking Descent franchise.
