CES 2012: Kinect Star Wars in 3D!

Kinect Star Wars was back in action and this time in glorious 3D at the 2012 Las Vegas CES.  Here are Microsoft’s Major Nelson and Glenn Gregory to show how it’s coming along.

Craig Derrick (2019)

Craig Derrick is an award-winning gamemaker whose creative leadership has driven blockbuster games that have generated nearly $2 billion in revenue and thrilled audiences worldwide. His recent credits include the blockbuster action-adventure Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, the record-breaking LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and the critically acclaimed Return to Monkey Island.

At The Walt Disney Company, Craig directs the development and execution of a multi-year portfolio of iconic franchises for Lucasfilm Games. Leading a team of producers, he manages the full lifecycle of game development in collaboration with multiple partners, including Quantic Dream's cinematic action-adventure game Star Wars Eclipse, Zynga's squad-based shooter Star Wars: Hunters, Disney's groundbreaking collaboration with Epic Games' Fortnite, and many others.

Previously, Craig co-founded Fifth Journey, a startup bridging Western and Asian markets with Hollywood studios and celebrity talent. At TinyCo, he spearheaded their first licensed games, including the top-grossing Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, contributing to the company’s $100 million valuation and acquisition. Earlier in his career, he spent seven years at LucasArts, where he led game teams, reimagined classic titles, and shaped iconic and original IPs such as Monkey Island and Star Wars 1313. He began his career at Parallax Software, creators of the revolutionary Descent series.

As a member of the Producers Guild of America and BAFTA, Craig is committed to advancing storytelling and interactive entertainment. He actively contributes to the film, game, and academic communities and is passionate about mentoring future creators and inspiring teams to achieve their fullest potential.
