Indiana Jones and the Great Circle | Six BAFTA Games Awards Nominations
BAFTA announced the nominations for the 22nd BAFTA Games Awards this morning, and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle is nominated in six categories, including Best Game.
The six: Best Game, Narrative, Music, Audio Achievement, Technical Achievement, and Performer in a Leading Role for Troy Baker as Indiana Jones.
As a BAFTA member this one means a great deal to me. These awards are voted by the people who make games, and the categories we are recognized in are exactly the ones we cared most about: the story, the sound, the music, and the performance at the center of it all. I am especially pleased for Troy, for Gordy Haab, and for the narrative and audio teams at MachineGames whose work carried the whole adventure.
Nine longlist categories in December became six nominations today. The ceremony is April 17 at the Queen Elizabeth Hall in London. Congratulations to everyone at MachineGames, Bethesda, Xbox and Lucasfilm Games.
