Star Wars: Galactic Racer | The Reviews Are In
The review embargo lifted this morning, and I am still catching my breath.
Eurogamer, 5 out of 5: “These worlds don’t just look beautiful, from Jakku’s dunes and wrecked Star Destroyers you must thread between to Crait’s white crystalline surface with red dust.”
VGC, 10 out of 10: “Star Wars: Galactic Racer absolutely nails what it is trying to do. It is a high-octane racer that’s endless fun to play, and it looks fantastic.”
Giant Bomb, 10 out of 10: “Star Wars: Galactic Racer is everything I hoped it would be.”
Radio Times, 5 out of 5: “Not only one of the best racing games I have played all year, but after playing the campaign the full way through, it just might be the best Star Wars game in years.”
GameSpot, 9 out of 10, with my favorite headline of the year: “I cannot believe this silly Star Wars racing roguelite is one of my favorite games in 2026.”
IGN, 8 out of 10: “A fabulous looking and frantically fast anti-grav racer that impressively goes further than just taking the decades-old Star Wars Racer games and giving them a 4K facelift.”
Metacritic opened at 88. Perfect scores from seven outlets. Not a single score below 70.
To everyone at Fuse Games: you did it. First game out of the studio, and this is how the world met it. To Secret Mode and my team at Lucasfilm Games, thank you. Four days to launch.
