Star Wars: Galactic Racer | Official Story Trailer at Summer Game Fest

Tonight at Summer Game Fest, live from the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood, we premiered the Story Trailer for Star Wars: Galactic Racer.

Darius Pax founded the Galactic League. Kestar Bool dominates it, and uses his position as League Champion to threaten other pilots and extend his reach. To keep control of his own league, Pax recruits Shade, a mysterious pilot with a personal grudge against the Bool family. Hibi, the engineer who keeps Shade’s vehicles running, is in the paddock. The trailer also introduces Derven Acos, a purpose-built racing arena, and confirms podracers in multiplayer.

Being in the room when a trailer plays to a live crowd never gets old. I have been doing this for thirty years and the sound of that theater when the podracers appeared is why I still do it.
