Craig Derrick is a strategic and versatile leader with a stellar track record for developing blockbuster games that have generated nearly two billion dollars in revenue and delighted millions of fans worldwide, including launching one of the longest-running hits in mobile gaming, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, the fastest-selling LEGO game in history, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, and the long-awaited, critically successful, Return to Monkey Island.
In his role at The Walt Disney Company, Craig drives the development and execution of a multi-year, high-profile portfolio of iconic content and beloved franchises for Lucasfilm Games. He manages a team of producers while overseeing production across multiple development partners, including Quantic Dream's cinematic action-adventure game Star Wars Eclipse, Bethesda's Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, Epic Games' Fortnite Universe integrations, Zynga's multiplayer squad-based shooter Star Wars: Hunters, and many others.
Before rejoining Lucasfilm, Craig co-founded and led creative for Fifth Journey, a venture dedicated to bridging Western and Asian markets for Hollywood studios and talent. He previously led production at TinyCo, where he was instrumental in developing the studio's first licensed games and brand partnerships, and spent seven years at LucasArts, leading multiple teams and developing the playbook for revitalizing their back catalog and incubating blockbuster IPs, including Monkey Island and Star Wars 1313. He began his production career at Parallax Software, creators of the revolutionary first-person shooter series Descent.
Craig is a member of the Producers Guild of America and The British Academy of Film and Television Arts. He actively contributes to the film, game, and academic communities and is passionate about creating immersive, engaging, and memorable stories that resonate with diverse audiences, showcasing the power and potential of gaming as a storytelling medium.
