Bio
Craig Derrick is an award-winning, creative executive with a track record for developing some of Hollywood’s biggest hit games and leadership in the storied Star Wars franchise. He currently manages a portfolio of global, interactive products and initiatives at Lucasfilm.
Most recently at Fifth Journey, he directed all phases of the studio's creative, gaming and VR/AR initiatives with a focus on adapting Hollywood IP for the Chinese and Asian markets and previously was the head of production at TinyCo on the top-grossing mobile game Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff.
Prior to that, he oversaw the development of groundbreaking titles including Star Wars: 1313, Kinect Star Wars, and the remastered Monkey Island: Special Edition series while building an original IP team focused on digital, mobile, and next-generation platforms at LucasArts.
Craig is also an active contributor to the game & academic communities and a member of the Producers Guild of America. He’s written for Game Developer magazine, spoken at the Game Developers Conference and San Diego Comic-Con, and has been interviewed by Bloomberg, Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, and other online & print news sites.
