Craig Derrick is an award-winning, creative executive with a track record for developing some of Hollywood’s blockbuster brands into hit games and his leadership with the storied Star Wars franchise.
Craig currently manages a portfolio of global, interactive products and initiatives at Lucasfilm and most recently directed all phases of Fifth Journey's creative, gaming and VR/AR initiatives with a focus on the Chinese and Asian markets. Before that, Craig was the head of production at TinyCo and instrumental in the development of the studio's first licensed IP title, the top-grossing mobile game, Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff.
At LucasArts, Craig oversaw the development of groundbreaking titles including Star Wars: 1313, Kinect Star Wars, and the remastered Monkey Island: Special Edition series while building Team 3, an original IP team focused on developing innovative story and interactive experiences for emergent digital, mobile, and next-generation platforms.
Craig is also an active contributor to the game & academic communities and a member of the Producers Guild of America. He’s written for Game Developer magazine, spoken at the Game Developers Conference and San Diego Comic-Con, and interviewed by Bloomberg, Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, and other online & print news sites.
