Craig Derrick is an award winning, 20-year game industry veteran with a track record for developing some of Hollywood’s biggest hit games including Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff, Kubo: A Samurai Quest, Pixar’s Finding Nemo, and leadership in the storied Star Wars franchise.
At Fifth Journey he directs all phases of the development studio's Creative, Gaming and VR initiatives. He most recently was the Head of Production at TinyCo and previously at LucasArts oversaw the development of titles including Star Wars: 1313, Kinect Star Wars, the Monkey Island: Special Edition series, and Tales of Monkey Island while establishing an original IP incubator dedicated to next-generation platforms.
Craig's also a member of the Producers Guild of America and an active contributor to the game development and academic communities. He's on the advisory board for Full Sail University, IADT|Tampa and founded the Albany, New York chapter of the International Game Developers Association. He’s written for Game Developer magazine, spoken at the Game Developers Conference and San Diego Comic-Con, and has been interviewed by Bloomberg, Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, and other online & print news sites.
